Can money buy happiness?

"Money cannot buy happiness" it is often claimed. But with money you can buy most of the things that are necessary for happiness: good food, accommodation, entertainment, travel, quality health care. No wonder most people want to make as much money as possible. The saying that money cannot buy happiness has many opponents. They claim that with the help of money it is possible to get the things that constitute happiness, such as delicious food, beautiful house, travel etc. Therefore, it is understandable why people do their best to earn as much as possible. While money can contribute to the happiness of those for who material wealth is paramount, for those who have other priorities money cannot buy happiness. Money can give great satisfaction and feeling of happiness to people, who place high value on material possessions. Having expensive cars, spacious and stylish apartments, good food and all the recent achievements of technology in entertainment is a must for these people. Without these attributes of wealthy life, they might feel inferior, insecure and sometimes morbidly depressed. However, there are people who put a different meaning into the word "happiness". They see happiness in healthy and friendly relations with their families, friends and those who are dear to them. Money cannot buy good relationships. Consequently, it cannot buy happiness for those who hold friendly interaction with people as a priority. Yet, there are other people, who believe that the only way to true happiness is spiritual paths and not through material possessions or loving relationships. They believe that the aim of our human existence is to become as fully human as possible, to realize the full potential inherent in the human condition. Money is considered by them only as means of survival in this world and does not have to do anything with happiness.

Sometimes, I think money can buy happiness.
When does income make a significant difference in our level of happiness?
If we struggle to afford good housing, food,
or education, both life satisfaction and mood plummets.
Many other cross-cultural and longitudinal studies have also shown
a very low correlation between material wealth and happiness,
except in cases of extreme poverty where people were deprived of basic needs.

In fact, money can't buy happiness directly.
If we focus on what things will come after having lots of money, we'll see what we get.
Nowadays, everything necessary is valuable.
Nothing is free because we have to buy all of them, especially the necessity of life.
We've to buy a house for living, a vehicle for traveling, food for eating, even water for drinking.
If we don't have that things, we have to do more work to stay alive.
Above all, we've to pay money wisely cause nothing exist permanently.
Not only we can get money, but we can also lose it. So, we should manage it our best.
Then, we'll be happy certainly.

For me, money cannot buy the happiness directly but it is
one way to enhance the happiness.
I sometimes get trouble because of lacking of money,so it makes me more save spending
in wasted things.
I cannot say that it's not buy the happiness, I won't want them.. No

Yes, money can buy happiness, but it's the temporary happiness.
The true happiness are never be bought. It's always free like they
say the best things in life are free. Yet. money can buy experiences.
Nowadays everything in life are valuable. For example when you want
to travel to other countries to explore the world, You need the money
to buy the ticket, a hotel to stay, food and drink to survive.

Possessions can make you happy for a little while
,but you will always be unhappy again later.

All of you may have a point but.......
I think that Money cannot buy everything in the world
but some happiness can buy by money.
For example you want to donate books, clothes, foods
to orphan home or nursing home but you don't have
money to buy it so you cannot give them. May be you
have books, clothes and foods but don't forget that
you have bought it. When you want to offer food for monks
but you don't have money so you don't have material to cook.
So If you love to give money to support  
"FOUNDATION FOR THE WELFARE OF NEEDY'' and you
have money so you can give them. And that make you
happiness. These are things that money can buy.

So I agree with "Money cannot buy everything in the world
but some happiness can buy by money."

I think money can buy happiness sometime .
From my experience, I had donate my money that I was earn to
the begged , to build temple or school , to buy some books for library
and donated for another. So in every time when I was giving I feel very happy.
