What is your favorite novel?

My favorite novel is "Beware of the Dog" by Roald Dahl. This story is very interesting it's setting in WWII. This is a short story. Peter Williamson, a Spitfire pilot, is flying home injured after a dogfight when he begins to feel light-headed, and decides to bail out of his plane just as he starts to pass over the English Channel. He then wakes up in hospital, his injuries treated, and is told he is in Brighton. However, he soon begins to notice that the hospital is not quite as it should be. The water is hard, but he remembers from his schooldays that water in Brighton is soft. He also hears the sounds of Junkers 88s flying overhead, when in England the German bombers would be quickly shot down. Finally, he looks out of the window and sees a sign which says 'Garde au Chien' - French for 'Beware of the Dog', and he realizes that he is in France. Shortly after this, the nurse tells him that someone from the Royal Air Force is here to see him. However, knowing he is in France, and a prisoner of war, Peter refuses to tell the man anything more than his name, rank and number.
This story teach me that 'to be aware of your surroundings and never trust what people say without reason and evidence'. If you interested in or want to read it, you can search it on the internet.

I like 'The Lord of the Rings' that is three-volume fantasy masterpiece,
written by J.R.R. Tolkien, centering on a hobbit named Frodo Baggins
who inherits a ring of power, which, in the hands of Sauron (the Lord of the Rings),
would bring about the destruction of the world. Frodo Baggins, and a small group
of companions must journey to destroy the ring, and save the world from evil.

But I like the first volume the most, "The Fellowship of the Ring", was published in 1954,
and is considered to be one of the classics of the fantasy/science fiction literary genre.
This novel is so popular and made into the films as well...

I like The Da Vinci Code written by Dan Brown.
It's entertaining though it messes with religion.
I couldn't put the book away when I started reading it.
I truly believed that the story was all true.
It seemed like the truth.
I even asked the brothers who came to Thailand
to publicize about God. They were a little upset
when I asked some questions which based on the book.
Then I found out later that the book wasn't all true; It's made up
some story. I was shocked yet it is still my favorite book because
it shocked and entertained by having me doubt at the same time.

My favorite novel for now is the novel called 'One Hundred Years of Solitude'
It is the pretty awesome book by Gabriel García Márquez who got nobel prize for literature in 1982.
This novel express the beliefs of Latin American people, the book have set in Columbia.
It's tell the stroy of multi-generational Buendía family which is the people in the family get the same name until the family ends.

I started read this novel when I study in secondary school.
I like this story very much.
It's a fantasy novel.

My all time favourite is definitely a series - Harry Potter!
But I love a lot more books and I especially recommend.
I like to read Harry Potter.
