Lettuce, being high in dietary fiber, aids digestion and is good for those suffering from constipation.
Lettuce has been associated with reducing the risk of cancer, heart disease, stroke and cataracts. This mainly results from the presence of beta-carotene, the chief disease-fighting nutrient, in the salad.
Since lettuce is pretty low in calories, it makes the perfect snack for those trying to lose weight.
Lettuce is rich in frolic acid, which is known to help prevent neural-tube birth defects in the beginning stages of pregnancy.It is believed that consumption of lettuce might help one get over nervous insomnia, as it contains a sleep-inducing substance.

For me, I do not know the medicinal properties of this but I know about the way to cook.
It's very easy to put it in the bowl of noodle, delicious
I can also have in menu of salad, the easy and tasty one.
I can eat it together with my local chili paste.

For me, it's refreshing, and crunchy.
When I eat junk food a lot, I just randomly take out
some lettuce and eat it. Plus it's healthy!
and It Depends what kind, iceberg hasn't got much
nutrients but Romanian lettuce has more nutrients
so try your best to not use iceberg lettuce as much.

Lettuce aids digestion and promotes liver health.

If iceberg is the only type of lettuce you eat,
you are choosing the least-nutritious member of a family of nutritional champions.
Any other lettuce or leafy green vegetable would be a better choice.
Most other greens are also good sources of vitamin C, beta-carotene,
folate, and dietary fiber as well as some calcium.
As a general rule, the darker green the leaves, the more nutritious the salad green.

I don't like lettuce at all.
Although I have know that there are lots of benefits.
One of their benefits is very useful for insomia person.
, as it contains a sleep inducing substance called 'lectucarium'.
Lettuce juice has been likened in effect to the sedative action of
opium without the accompanying excitement. At nights
when you find you cannot go to sleep, just eat a few leaves of lettuce,
and see the difference.
It's so mild that no digestion distress is caused even when you eat it before going to bed.

Lettuce is main part for all salad dishes. I myself don't like eating lettuce, 
but I like to put it in the noodle. I one read a article about lettuce benefit.
