When you’re using electricity think about where it comes from and how you can use less to take the strain off of the environment - here are some simple ways to make a big difference:

- Lights out! Turning lights off when you're not in the room (make sure no-one else is too!) can save a lot of energy.
- Putting the kettle on Britons drink an amazing 60.2 billion cups of tea a day according to The Tea Council. That's a lot of tea, and a lot of electricity too! That's why it's important to only boil as much water as you need in your kettle. It's best to boil enough water for one cup, not three or five - plus you won't have to wait as long, which is a bonus!
- Harness the sun’s energy - An increasing number of people are fitting solar panels to their houses. Photovoltaic (PV) solar panels create electricity from sunlight, which can then be used to power their homes. Solar heating panels make hot water, reducing the need for electricity or gas to heat water or run the central heating system.

I will ride the bicycle when I go anywhere so I can decrease fuel using.
Moreover, I think growing the trees is the very good way to protect our environment.

The way to protect our environment :

1. Use compact fluorescent light bulbs: It is true that these bulbs are more expensive, but they last much longer and they can save energy and in the long term your electricity bill would be reduced.
2. Walk or cycle: Driving is one of the biggest causes of pollution. If you want to use your car, ask yourself the following question: do I really need my car? Walk or use your bike if the journey is a short one.
3. Turn off your devices: When you do not use a house device, turn it off. For example, if you don't watch TV, turn it off. Turn off the light when you leave a room (even if you intend to return.) It's an easy habit to take up which will help you save a lot of money.

of the day.
-Don’t water more than once a week, and then only if it hasn't rained. Established lawns need

-Don’t water the sidewalk - it won’t grow. Set your sprinkler to keep the water on the lawn.
-Mulch around your landscaping. A three-inch layer of mulch holds moisture and prevents evaporation, reducing the need to water.
-Use a bucket when you wash the car, instead of the hose. Letting the water run while you work costs money and wastes water. Only use the hose to rinse.
-Sweep your driveway and sidewalk instead of cleaning them up by spraying with the hose.
