How can you improve your English language skills?

For me, I have tried to improve my English in many ways.
Firstly, I will spend a lot of time with people who can speak English very well, and I will let them know that I would like feed-back from them about my English speaking skill.
These people may also be willing to guide me toward reading materials suitable to your level.
Then, the most important way to improve my spoken English is by listening to correct pronunciation and then practicing out loud.
Watching American TV shows can be helpful, but only if I try to imitate what I hear them say.
My spoken English simply will not improve just listening.
Thirdly, I must not be afraid of making mistakes but once I make them I have to rectify then with the help of a grammar book or a dictionary.
The best way to improve my fluency is to not just speak in English, but think in English, because if I am thinking in my mother tongue and I try to translate my message to English before actually saying it,
I will spoil that day's English advantage and learning. Just try to speak inside of my mind in English,
and it will come out in a more natural way.

There are different ways to learn. Find out what kind of learner you are in order to better understand how to learn more effectively..by yourself. Watch English Movies With English Soundtrack and English Subtitles - Most of my Thai students watch a lot of American and British movies. However, instead of watching them with English audio and English subtitles, they watch them with Thai audio and sometimes even Thai subtitles. Doing this causes them to miss out on an easy and fun way to improve their English.

These are my ways to improve my English skills.
- read books in English language when I have a free time.
- listen to music in English.
- watch movies and cartoons with English soundtrack.
- always keep taking revision about English to review what I have learned.
- talk with friends in English language.
- when playing game, I always try to understand all about the story and what the characters say.

As we know that English skills have four skills; they are reading ,
listening, writing and speaking. According to natural approach method,
writing and speaking skill are based on listening and reading skill.
The more you read and listen, the more you get good in
speaking and writing.
There are varieties techinques to improve, such as, listen native speaker
to improve your pronunciation from internet, read a book that you love, and
listen a song or talk show that you like it.
If you have fun of it, you will acquire knowledge from it.

There are many ways to improve English skill. For me, I study in English major
so I always improve my skill by using English almost everyday. Moreover,
listening to music is the best way to improve listening skill; I always listen to English music.
Reading English book and watching English movie are the good way to improve my skill as well.

To improve my English language skills, I first improve my listening skill because I think if i can understand what they say or talk about then other skills will be improved automatically. I watch English movies and listen to English music everyday. Then I chat with my friends in English. I try to use it daily life to get familiar with using English. I believe that practice makes perfect. So using English everyday will improve my English skills to be as perfect as I can be like a native speaker.

Just make it naturally, like Krashen said in his theory.
To acquire languages is easy, when it happen naturally.
You have to acquire from an authentic material; movies, or songs.

Do not try to much, but make it naturally.
It will be permanent.

According to own style to learn English language, these are my activities to learn.
-Learning vocabulary from playing computer games
-Watching movies with soundtrack to practice listening
-Writing English journal for practicing using vocab and grammar
-Giving comments in TRR to practice writing skill
-Surfing the Internet to learn English quotes
-Playing FB to read something new from various English pages

As you know that there are a lot of sources in the internet for learning
especially reading and listening skill.
You can also find some sources to learn
or find some teaching videos to learn.
If you want to practice speaking skill
you can also practice it by using Skype or Msn
or any chat programs to talk with the native speakers
or even your friends in other countries.
