Because,I love laughing.Laughter is the best medicine! In our stressful and busy lives, where we are trying to please everybody, we hardly get a chance to laugh, to smile and to be ourselves! Comedy movies help us bring back the 'child like laughter' that tends to hide somewhere.Even the darkest of days can be given that face-lift by watching a comedy movie. I enjoy comedies because they make me laugh a lot.
It's also make my endorphin flowing.
It bring me out of a depression and put a smile on my face for at least 2 hours.
I especially like the old Disney comedies for their family values & no foul language 
Comedies keep me from getting depressed when I feel them coming on and it' the great way to spend time with family & friends.
They make me feel like a kid again. 
They're usually wholesome, family oriented, don't use foul language
