What are the bad effects of facebook?

Facebook is my favorite website. It gives me many good points, such as can contact family & friends, near & far, can upload photos & organize them into albums, can share work file with friends etc. But it give me some bad effects in the same time. For example, Facebook can form unhealthy habits and even develop personality disorders in your children and teens, teens and young adults that log onto Facebook constantly tend to be more narcissistic, the students who logged in to their Facebook during studying ended up doing worse on their exams than those that didn’t, whatever you choose to post online can never be entirely private. The first negative effect that Facebook can have on your life is, to some capacity, a result of your own doing. Whether of a direct or an indirect action, undesirable information about us can spill beyond the boundaries of chosen privacy settings and end up in the hands of a third party.

I think Facebook is a waste of time yet it's addictive. It's weird that I have to check facebook for every ten minute. I don't know why but I just automatically do that. The more I spend on facebook the more I loose interest to things and people around me and sometimes I feel like I start to ignore them and stuck on facebook checking up on people all day like a spy which it's insane. Another bad thing about facebook is that causes depression. Some people like to show off their things on facebook. Sometimes I get jealous of them.

I think the bad effects of Facebook are...
- wasting a time when we use Facebook just for searching other people.
- getting wrong information if we get any news without considering.
- being infamous if we share the bad things such as almost naked our photos.
- becoming an enemy with friends if we share all our feeling to other people.

Above all, Facebook provides lots of benefits if we use properly.

pleasure, social networking, and so much more. It has become a way of life.
I spend a lot of my own free time browsing the internet.
The social networking site Facebook is among one of the most popular sites visited.

I think the biggest, negative impact Facebook has on our lives is loss of privacy.

The bad effect of facebook, I think it’s wasting of time.
Once I go online for using facebook, I spend so much time for it.
I usually spend at least one hour only for clicking “Like” for others.
Sometimes I spend all night for chatting with my friends online.
So, I waste much time with it and I admit that I can’t control myself
to stop using it although I know I have to read a book or do the homework.
However, I will try to reduce spending time for facebook in order
to have more time for reading books.

Actually, facebook is one of the websites that I usually access!
Anyways, it gives me negative effects. Facebook is a very popular social networking site with over eight hundred million users. As an avid user of Facebook myself, I find it hard to believe that at one point it didn't exist. In fact, it has become so much a part of people's lives that you can learn their life story just by checking their page. Facebook is notorious for causing couples to break up. Let's face it, no one wants to see their girlfriend/boyfriend telling other people that they look cute, or liking their pictures, or instant messaging them constantly. It builds up jealousy, which causes quite a bit of tension in a relationship. The fact that many people try to hook up with others over Facebook while not realizing that these people are in a relationship doesn't help the issue.

On Facebook it is very easy for cyber bullies to thrive. They can harass and/or gang
up on one person even easier than they could in a school environment. There aren't
moderators that go around monitoring what people say to each other. Anything can
be said. There are also a relatively small amount of parents that have Facebook
accounts and keep up with their children's. More than once I've witnessed this
form of bullying, whether it be about race, appearance, intelligence, etc.

You might love it but you are at a risk, at the cost of your privacy. People spend a lot of time interacting with others and checking on what other people are doing, and you can forget to take care of yourself. Facebook is my best buddy. ^^ I always almost of my free time on this website. I use Facebook in many ways, I use it for chatting with friends, keep my photos, follow the news, read or write something useful for my life, upload and watch the VDO, join some fun activity, play game and etc. Although Facebook is very useful but it have a terrible bad effect that cause me everyday. It is Facebook make me become a lazy person. When I serve on this website it make me don't want to do anything except attention on it. So I have to change my habit before I will become a bad girl.
