What is the benefit of watching television?

Television has been a part of our lives, not only it gives us entertainment but it also gives us information like news, the current events, lifestyle updates, science & technology and there's a lot to mention. Well in my own observation to what I have notice to other people when they talk about how TV has influence them in their lives, well most of them i've had conversation with are my friends at work, neighbors and some old friends. One thing is most common to their experience was they look at TV as window of what is going on in the community like fashion (what's in thing) it is where they are influence to wear those fancy clothing, gadgets, and more about fashion. Some of them also look at TV as a window of how they feel and I also that learn about general knowledge.It is a fact that TV has given us ways to enjoy life right at our own home for our family to enjoy without having to go outdoor and some how I see how it has influence us how to live our lives.

People who wish to exercise by using television programs may consider that another advantage to watching television.

Knowing about a lot of information and the latest news is the main benefit that you get by watching television. Only by sitting in front of your television, you can choose any channel that provides news program. Most parents see TV as negative due to all the things their child could be influenced by. Well, there is an opportunity for the child to be influenced in positive way too, with so many young actors and actresses nowadays promoting healthy living and ways to be environmentally friendly. When a child sees their favorite characters participating in these positive acts they will be influenced by it in a good way, and again possibly give them motivation to get up and make a difference too.
