| The most important benefit of yoga is physical and mental therapy. The aging process, which is largely an artificial condition, caused mainly by autointoxication or self-poisoning, can be slowed down by practicing yoga. By keeping the body clean, flexible and well lubricated, we can significantly reduce the catabolic process of cell deterioration. To get the maximum benefits of yoga one has to combine the practices of yogasanas, pranayama and meditation. Regular practice of asanas, pranayama and meditation can help such diverse ailments such as diabetes, blood pressure, digestive disorders, arthritis, arteriosclerosis, chronic fatigue, asthma, varicose veins and heart conditions. Laboratory tests have proved the yogi's increased abilities of consciously controlling autonomic or involuntary functions, such as temperature, heartbeat and blood pressure. Research into the effects of yogic practices on HIV is currently underway with promising results. Through the practice of yoga, we become aware of the interconnectedness between our emotional, mental and physical levels. Gradually this awareness leads to an understanding of the more subtle areas of existence. The ultimate goal of yoga is to make it possible for you to be able to fuse together the gross material, physical, mental, intellectual and spiritual levels within your being.

| You will sleep better when you do yoga. If you do yoga before bed, you will hit the hay relaxed, de-stressed and with all of the day’s aches, pains and kinks worked out of your system. Even if you have no trouble falling asleep, yoga will help you sleep soundly through the night. How does this help your vibration? Well… remember the last time you missed out on a good night’s sleep? Were you chipper and cheerful, or grumpy and lethargic? And how was the rest of your day? Was it tainted by low-vibrating grumpiness or did you manage to snap out of it?

Improves Concentration: Yoga provides a continuous flow of concentration and mediation that can be used as a tool for your everyday life. A good yoga class will leave you with a sense of inner peace that will last you throughout your day. This will help with decision-making and improve your concentration on tasks at hand. 3. Stress Relief: Yoga uses many different breathing-control techniques. By spending an hour or an hour and thirty minutes in a yoga class, doing movements that require you to inhale and exhale, can result in relieving tension that you may be holding in your body. | I just read from the magazine yesterday about benefits of yoga. This is one thing that I can remember about the benefits of yoga. It can improve brain function. It said that if you do yoga for 20 minutes. It can improve cognitive function, boosting focus and working memory. That magazine makes me want to do yoga right now. XD
